​Strummerfest, first and foremost, is about doing something good for others.  Not only exemplary manners, but exemplary concern and exemplary compassion. Supporting Strummerfest is remembering Joe Strummer, yes, and it is supporting local music, yes, but even more  importantly it's supporting the efforts of truly charitable people who  serve others in our communities.  

Strummerfest primarily supports the work of Your Life Counts,  the Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council and House of Friendship.  We have also provided support in the past to The Joe Strummer Foundation and are open to supporting other charitable objectives from time to time as appropriate.
